Preface
This book has been prepared and issued by the Imperial Munitions Board with a view of emphasising the practicability of woman labour in the production of munitions of war in this Country.
The photographs have been taken under the direction of the Board's Engineering Department and, to those associated with the manufacture of Munitions, will convey a technical meaning that we trust may be helpful. To others, it will broadly evidence the
magnificent manner in which the womanhood of Canada, nobly backed by the workmen concerned, have rallied to the force behind the man behind the gun.
